Haro Fork Standers
Just finished cleaning up the fork standers. The decals needed replaced as they were torn and worn, but I'd planned to use customer green/blue decals on them any way.

Del-cals decals
Once again Del-Cals.co.uk came through with the decals for the build, even some non standard ones.
First up some standard 1986 Haro Master decals for the frame, fork and bars.
Then the custom stuff... Since this will be a very green/white build, I thought a nice touch would be to redo the Haro Group 1 decals in green instead of blue and have the fork decals made in green/blue instead of the normal red blue.
Turned out nicer than expected :)
Definately look to Del-Cals.co.uk if you need decal work done.

Custom decals
Since I'll be once again be going with a green theme on the bike, I've decided to have a few decals made up in none standard colours. The main decals will be standard, but the fork stander and crank decals will have a touch of green on them instead.
The fork stander decals are red/blue combo, but I'll have a green/blue combo made up on chrome backing.
The Group 1 crank decals are originally Black/chrome/blue, but I change the blue to green:
Should turn out nice...

Custom decals
I'm going to get some custom decals made up based on the KillerV logo I use here. Been meaning to do that for a white but never got around to it.
Glad I took some high resolution photos of the original decals to use as a template.

Head badge
I've been off work a few days over the past week with a nasty cold. Although I'm glad it was this month rather than next month, as I'll be heading off to New Zealand for a 6 week vacation.
Anyway, I havent managed to do the work in the Lefty yet, but I started off with the easy part and replaced the black head tube decal with a modern metal one. It needed a bit of adjustment since the older headtubes don't taper in like the modern ones.

The final touch
Most of the reproduction decal kits I've seen either don't come with the Handmade in the USA flag for the top tube, or those that do tend to have a solid colour as a background.
But I managed to find a source some from a guy in Canada that had a clear background that look pretty good.

Decals
I order up some cannondale decals today for the frame.
I had originally planned to use yellow decals with a black outline, but decided again that as I don't want to bring in any colours to the bike now. The only colours I'll use are black, white and of course silver. So the decals will be white with a black outline.

1998
Even without checking the serial, a quick look the catalogs on the Vintage Cannondale website reveals that it is a 1998 Killer V. Although the Killer V800 is not listed in the catalog, the V900 and V700 are there with the same style of decals.
