You don't really see the size difference of a 24" compared to a 20" with individual photos, so here's a few shots of the Kuwahara 24 beside a GT Pro Performer:

Kuwahara 24 clean up and rebuild
Actually had the time to rebuild the Kuwahara from scratch and give it a good cleaning at the same time.
The bare frame:
A nice feature on the Kuwahara 24 is the double drop outs. Here you can see the two dropout plates side by side:
Flat brake bridge:
New headset cups installed:
BB Cups installed (Sealed bearings):
Forks cleaned up:
Forks stamped TANGE Made in Japan 3B (Feb '83):
Forks installed:
Tange Lock nut with MX-2 headset:
Suntour Power Stem:
Redline Cruiser Bars:
Bars installed:
Suntour broken arrow seat clamp:
Kuwahara Laser post (22.4mm) and a Elina Lightning Bolt seat:
A'me Rounds - bubble font:
The Kuwahara power disk was in need of some love as it was badly scratched up as someone probably installed the disk with the stamping on the inside and scratched up the surface badly. I sanded it down as best I could without losing the Kuwahara stamping:
Kuwahara Power Disk installed on a Takagi 180mm crank with a Tioga sealed BB:
Pro Neck 44T Sproket installed:
Front wheel cleaned up and installed:
Rear wheel installed. Must find a matching front hub a chrome high flange Suzue:
Just pedals and brakes left to do:
D.I.D. chain degunked and cleaned up:
Suntour XC-II pedals:
Dia Compe Tech 3 lever. Just installing a rear brake at the moment. I think it would look nicer with black levers.
Rear Dia Compe MX1000 cleaned up and installed. I have a matching front caliper too and will put that on when I get the black levers:
That's it complete and got to say it's the nicest bike I have. Now for some finished shots:
