A2Z rear disc adapter

One of the reason why I ordered the Brake Therapy disc adapter for this bike was because the cheaper alternative, the A2Z disk adapter didn't fit. The A2z adapter clamps to the rear drop out but unfortunately due to the style of the drop out the adapter just wouldn't fit.

Here's a few photos outlining the problem. The photos are flipped since the adapter wouldn't even sit on the frame unless it was upside down.

ah man, that sucks.
where'd you get the A2Z adapter anyway? I'm just now looking for one of these, myself.

Well I've got a nice one sitting in a box in the attic gathering dust if you want it. I'd rather it go to good use.

But I got it on ebay, they crop up there from time to time.

I ended up going with the Brake Therapy solution which I'm more than happy with.

Hello!
I´m from Germany. I also have a Killer V800 and I´m interestet in such "Breake Therapy" adapter like this one you used on your Killer V. Unfortunaly I cant order this adapter at the "Breake Therapy" webside. Did you have any idea, wher I can order this adapter? Or did you have a adapter to sell?
Thanks and good bye! Greatings Holger

V -- dude, I've been meaning to get in touch with you about that A2Z adapter to say thanks for the offer, much appreciated, but that shortly after I made my original post, I ordered a couple from a guy on eBay. ha, and now mine is just sitting in a box :) my friend installed the other.

Hi Scott, no probs... I wonder how many of those adapter just end up sitting in a box :) If it was for your green/yellow bike (Saw it on your photostream), it looks way better with the black rim brakes. Nice ride...

Hi Holger,

I'm based in Sweden and had the same problem. I sent Brake Therapy an email then ordered the adapter over the phone. Their contact details are here: http://www.braketherapy.com/contact.htm

When I ordered it was $150 + $25 shipping to Europe.

Hope that helps.
